Namaste. We have been professionally offering yoga and meditation teacher certification since 2001, for 20 years. We believe learning to teach yoga can be educational, inspirational and joyful. It's also our belief that yoga should be taught in a professional and encouraging environment that offers the necessary skillset, confidence and inspiration to teach and share yoga.
Graduates from Kind Karma® Yoga, are currently teaching all over the world, including such places as Ecuador, Costa Rica, South Africa, Japan, Canada, California, Colorado, Florida, Maine, North Carolina, South Carolina, Ohio, New York and Long Island.
Kind Karma® Yoga is a Heart Centered and Midline Integrated Yoga. This style of yoga incorporates heart-based practices, powerful core techniques and Rahini Yoga® Karma Healing Kriyas that promote self-care, self healing and personal empowerment.

95-Hour Yoga Alliance Children's Teacher Training Program
Our Kind Karma® Kids Yoga Course is dedicated to providing yoga teachers and all those who love working with kids, the tools, skills and confidence needed to create a safe and compassionate yoga class for children ages 2 to teens. This course provides fun-filled, engaging ideas that are beneficial for all kids. Our method of teaching yoga incorporates the use of animated yoga poses, props, music, art, games, storytelling and the imagination, to help stimulate their senses as well as stretch and strengthen their developing bodies.
The Kind Karma® Kids Yoga approach uses creative techniques to keep children of all ages engaged in their yoga practice. We incorporate a lot of fun into each class, while encouraging kids to be positive, relaxed, mindful and centered.
To Become a Registered Children's Yoga Teacher (RCYT)
According to the Yoga Alliance, "teachers can register as a RCYT if they have successfully completed both a 200-hour yoga teacher training program and a 95-hour children's yoga training—in either order—that are registered with Yoga Alliance."
To Register as an RCYT with Yoga Alliance, the Following is Required:
Complete a 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Program with a RYS 200.
Complete a 95-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Program with a Registered Children’s Yoga School (RCYS).
Submit 30 Teaching Hours in Children's Yoga that Takes Place AFTER you Get your 95-Hour Children's Yoga Teacher Training Certificate.
Yoga Alliance Standards
12 Hours: General Background of Specialty Area.
20 Hours: Techniques, Training & Practice.
15 Hours: Teaching Methodology.
10 Hours: Anatomy & Physiology.
12 Hours: Yoga Philosophy, Lifestyle & Ethics.
18 Hours of Practicum: Observe 3 approved children’s classes at our Yoga Center; Assist 3 approved children’s classes at our Yoga Center; Teach (with a Kind Karma® Kids Yoga Teacher) 2 approved children’s classes at our Yoga Center; Final Practicum.
8 Hours: Elective (Assigned by Directors of Program).
Have a current background check available to work with children.
Sign our “Code of Ethics” and background release forms.
Attend 10 Kind Karma Kids Yoga Classes at our yoga center.
95 Hour Documentation: Each student is required to keep a logbook of the amount of time and hours spent in every module or subject area of the teacher training program. During the Kind Karma Kids Yoga® Program, instruction is provided on the best way to organize, record and complete the logbook. A completed logbook is required before graduation is finalized.
Kind Karma® Kids Yoga Practice Journal
During the entire length of the program, students are encouraged to keep a journal of their personal Kid's Yoga Training. This journal is intended to:

Promote mindfulness, self-reflection and self-discovery.
Textbooks & Materials
Students are given the complete course reading list upon registration and payment.
