Namaste. We have been professionally offering yoga and meditation teacher certification since 2001, for 20 years. We believe learning to teach yoga can be educational, inspirational and joyful. It's also our belief that yoga should be taught in a professional and encouraging environment that offers the necessary skillset, confidence and inspiration to teach and share yoga.
Graduates from Kind Karma® Yoga, are currently teaching all over the world, including such places as Ecuador, Costa Rica, South Africa, Japan, Canada, California, Colorado, Florida, Maine, North Carolina, South Carolina, Ohio, New York and Long Island.
Kind Karma® Yoga is a Heart Centered and Midline Integrated Yoga. This style of yoga incorporates heart-based practices, powerful core techniques and Rahini Yoga® Karma Healing Kriyas that promote self-care, self healing and personal empowerment.that promote self-care, self healing and personal empowerment.

After a particular session, if you feel the need to reflect upon or process what happened during your meditation, then make a contract with yourself - a gentle agreement, that upon completion of your reflection you will let go of whatever you reflected on. Stick to it! Personal contracts only have meaning when you uphold the integrity of that contract. Just remember meditation is the art of letting go, not the art of holding on. "Awaken with Meditation" Course 2 is an inner journey of cultivating peace, healing, harmony and high vibration in our body, mind, heart and spirit."
This 3 hour course is designed whether you would like to learn how to meditate, considering meditation as a career path, or simply wish to deepen your practice and enhance your knowledge.
As a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provide (YACEP), this course credits 2.5 Yoga Alliance CE Hours.
Chairs and meditation props will be available for comfort, however we do recommend you bring your personal meditation cushion, if you have one.
Prerequisite: "Awaken with Meditation" Course.
Awaken with Meditation
Students Will Learn:
Movement Meditation: Warming up with Awaken Qigong.
Myths of meditation & overcoming meditation obstacles.
Body scanning & how to use the breath to calm the body and mind.
How to get comfortable for a silent, sitting meditation.
Sound awakening & concentration technique to overcome mental restlessness.
Loving kindness meditation (Metta Meditation) with music.
Use of sounds to enhance meditation.
Meditation discussion, 2 seated meditations, walking loving kindness meditation. Includes breaks.
