Namaste and Welcome to the Rahini School of Yoga & Meditation

We have been professionally offering yoga and meditation teacher certification since 2001 - for 18 years! We believe learning how to teach yoga can be educational, inspirational, joyful, and of course – spiritual. It is also our belief that yoga should be taught in a compassionate, safe, supportive and encouraging yogic environment that provides a professional foundation upon which our graduates have the knowledge, skills, confidence and inspiration to teach - and to share, yoga.

Graduates from our Rahini Yoga®, Meditation and Gong & Sound Training Programs are currently teaching all over the world including such places as Ecuador, Costa Rica, South Africa, Japan, Canada, California, Colorado, Florida, Maine, North Carolina, South Carolina, Ohio, New York and Long Island.

Rahini Yoga® is a Heart-Centered Yoga because it incorporates heart-based practices, promotes personal and spiritual growth, self-healing and self-empowerment. This style of yoga helps us to realize our own potential, and awaken our wisdom and creative energies within, by combining traditional and contemporary yoga study, training and practices.

We are looking forward to sharing a spiritual journey together, and spreading loving-kindness, peace, healing, yoga, meditation and sound healing throughout the world!

Our Yoga Alliance Registered Teacher Training Programs: We have 4 nationally Registered Yoga Schools (RYS) through Yoga Alliance. We offer:
200 Hour Rahini Yoga® Teacher Training.
500 Hour Rahini Yoga® Teacher Training.
95 Hour Rahini Yoga® Children's Yoga (RCYS): Inspired Kid's Yoga.
85 Hour Rahini Yoga® Prenatal Yoga (RPYS).
We are a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP), issuing CEU's for Yoga Teachers.

Our Advanced Rahini Yoga® Teacher Training Programs: Additionally, if a student wishes to deepen their yogic training, knowledge and experience with the Rahini Yoga® School, we offer the following advanced training:
800 Hour Rahini Yoga® Teacher Training.
1,100 Hour Rahini Yoga® Teacher Training.
1,400-2000 Hour Rahini Yoga® Master Teacher Training- Well Exceeding Yoga Alliance Standards.
Our Yin Yoga Teacher Training: We also offer a 3-Module Yin Yoga Training Program for those yoga teachers who want to learn, practice or teach yin yoga poses or classes. Graduates will be prepared to teach yin yoga classes safely, with confidence and ease. This program covers the Meridian Theory.
Yin Yoga Teacher Training - Module I: Foundation.
Yin Yoga Teacher Training - Module II: Integration.
Yin Yoga Teacher Training - Module III: Illumination.
Module III Incorporates Sound Instruments, Qigong Exercises & Specialized Practices.
Meditation Teacher Training: We are one of the few yoga studios on Long Island offering a multi-levelMeditation Teacher Training Course so you can "transform yourself and learn how to share the transformative power of meditation with others."
The Mind-of-Clear-Light® Meditation Teaches How to Use Sound to Deepen the Meditation Experience. This course includes walking & moving meditation. 
Gong & Sound Healing Training: For those yoga & meditation teachers, energy healers, lightworkers, or sound healers, who have a desire or a calling to incorporate "sound healing" in a classroom, group or in a private setting, we offer 3 different sound training courses:

Joy of Gong & Sound Resonance Training - Levels I & II

Using the Gong as a Music Instrument, Sound Healing Tool and as a Mystical Gateway to Personal & Spiritual Transformation. Many different Sound Instruments are Used. No Experience Necessary.
