Welcome to the School of Kind Karma® Yoga & Awaken with Meditation. 


Kind Karma® Yoga is a heart centered and midline integrated yoga. This style of yoga incorporates heart-based practices, powerful core techniques and Rahini Yoga Kriyas that promote healing and personal empowerment.

We have been professionally offering yoga and meditation teacher certification since 2001. We believe learning to teach yoga can be educational, inspirational and joyful.​  It's our belief yoga should be taught in a professional, encouraging environment that offers the necessary skillset and confidence to teach and share yoga. 

Graduates from Kind Karma Yoga, are currently teaching all over the world, including such places as Ecuador, Costa Rica, South Africa, Japan, Canada, California, Colorado, Florida, Maine, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Ohio, New York and Long Island.

Course Description

Prerequisite: Kind Karma® Yin Yoga Training I

Kind Karma® Yin Yoga uses gentle long held postures – "shapes," with a compassionate, open-minded attitude of self-acceptance to awaken and free the yin parts of our physical, emotional, energetic, mental and spiritual selves.  Yin Yoga practice is perfect for anyone who wants to bring more freedom, flexibility, mobility or energy to their hips, pelvis, hamstrings, spine and shoulders. Often, these areas of the body become stiff and less mobile because of aging, old injuries or chronic overuse, and Yin Yoga gently releases and lengthens the connective tissues within those target areas.

Kind Karma® Yin Yoga Teacher Training 2 is intended to guide and teach the student how to integrate various aspects of yin yoga into their classroom, private setting or personal practice.  Yin Yoga Teacher Training 2 will offer the student the opportunity to enhance their understanding of Yin Yoga, help clarify any confusion about their practice, and build and integrate inner connections with their yoga practice.  


This course combines yin yoga with meditation, breathing exercises, sound therapy, and the "power of the yin pause." Many of our yin yoga class sequences tailor the practice to target certain emotions by embracing a meridian-based approach (Traditional Chinese Medicine) that focuses on the correlated organs. 

Kind Karma® Yin Yoga Training II is 15 hours, consisting of:

  • Study through reading and engaging lecture.

  • Review Yin Yoga Teacher Training I.

  • Yin Yoga at the Wall:  Learning new yin poses (shapes) in depth, with emphasis on alignment, modifications and variations.  Benefits of Wall Yin Yoga.  Contraindications and modifications for the Yin Yoga Wall poses. 

  • Participation in yin yoga practices so that the principles of yin yoga can be experienced, realized and felt.

  • Yin Yoga breathing practices.

  • Chakras and Yin Yoga. 

  • OM Meditation.

  • How to better understand our emotions and surrender to neutrality by working with our "yin tissues". 

  • Koshas and how the practice of Yin Yoga affects each level of being. Emphasis on the 3rd, 4th and 5th Koshas.

  • Meridians (energy channels) and their relationship with the organs and emotions.

  • Sound therapy.  

  • Questions and answers.

We are a Yoga Alliance Approved Continuing Education Provider

  • We have four Yoga Alliance Registered School designations.

  • We are a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP), thus the hours completed can be applied towards Yoga Alliance Continuing Education.

  • This training is open to yoga teachers from all traditions (copy of teacher certificate required).

  • This training is an opportunity for yoga teachers to deepen their knowledge and understanding about the meridian theory based on Traditional Chines Medicine (TCM).

  • Participants will receive a Certificate of Completion in Kind Karma® Yin Yoga.

Hours for Yin Yoga II.

  • 15.5 hours: 13.5 contact hours (in studio) & 2 non-contact hours.

Dates & Times

  • Saturday, January 14th, 2023: 1:00pm - 7:30pm.

  • Sunday,  January 15th, 2023: 10:00am - 5:00pm.


  • $270 – for those students who took Kind Karma Yin I (includes hand-outs & certificate).

    • Plus $20 for manual.

  • $310 – or those students who did not take Kind Karma Yin Yoga I (includes hand-outs & certificate).

    • Plus, $20 for manual.

    • For registration, your are required to show proof of a Yin Yoga 1 comparable course.
